Portugal registered a convincing victory over Luxembourg on Sunday (March 26) at the Euro 2024 Qualifiers. Skipper Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals as his side completely outplayed the hosts at Stade de Luxembourg. With his double, Ronaldo took his career tally for Portugal to 122 goals in 198 games.

During this Euro 2024 Qualifier, Cristiano made the headlines for both his goals as well as his celebration. The five-time Ballond’Or winner, who usually celebrates his goals with his signature ‘Siuuu’ leap, came up with something new.

In the ninth minute of the match, when he opened the scoring for Portugal, sprinted in elation and took a leap. But rather than doing ‘Siuuu’, he introduced a new celebration which was a blend of two. This celebration was a combined of his ‘Siuuu’ and his trademark ‘Nap’ celebration.
