However, Ronaldo's recent international break with Portugal did not go as smoothly as expected. Although he featured in the game against Slovakia, he was not allowed to feature in the fixture against Luxembourg as he was sanctioned two yellow cards in two consecutive matches. However, he will feature for Al-Nassr this week against Al-Raed.
