Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 850th goal in his professional football career, a thunderous strike hitting the top right corner, to help Al-Nassr secure a comfortable 5-1 win against Al-Hazm in the Saudi Pro League. On September 2, Saturday, the Portuguese star was breathing fire on the pitch, playing some of his best football in recent times.
During the first half at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Cristiano Ronaldo played a big role in securing the lead for Al-Nassr, assisting Abdulrahman Ghareeb in the 33rd minute. Then, Abdullah Al-Khaibari doubled the lead for the visitors, scoring the goal deep into first half added time.

In the second half, Al-Hazm reduced the lead with their first goal in the 47th minute with Muhammed Badamosi. But, just ten minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo set up Otavio to restore the two-goal cushion for Al-Nassr.
The 38-year-old became the first footballer to achieve the milestone of 850th career goal, when he managed to put the ball in the back of the net, after making it whistle past four opposition defenders inside the box in the 68th minute. The fifth and final goal of the match for Al-Nassr was scored by Sadio Mane, to put the finishing touches to a comprehensive performance against Al-Hazm.

Cristiano Ronaldo has six goals in his four appearances for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. He will now be itching to score a lot of goals in the coming weeks and months, to help the club reach the top spot in the league, first and foremost, before ensuring that they stay there.
