Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has finally found his stride in the Saudi Premier League as he scored his second hat trick for Al-Nassr in three games. Playing against mid-table Damac at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, Ronaldo scored thrice in the first half as he completed the 62nd hat trick of his career.

At the 18th-minute mark, Ronaldo gave Al-Nassr the lead from the penalty spot as Ibrahim Al Nakhli was penalised for handball. Five minutes later,  Ronaldo doubled the lead with an incredible left-footed strike into the back of the net. Then just ahead of half-time, Ronaldo slotted home his third goal after an Al-Nassr counter-attack.

With this hat trick, Cristiano Ronaldo is one goal from becoming the highest-goalscorer in the Saudi Premier League. Ronaldo now has five goals in just fours and is now behind Al Shabab’s  Carlos, top scorer with a tally of six goals in eight games.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus forward didn’t score in the previous game but still managed to register two assists after playing the full 90 minutes. The 37-year-old had an excellent performance against Al-Wehda earlier this month, where Al-Nassr registered a 4-0 victory on that occasion where Ronaldo scored all four goals for his side.

The former Manchester United forward had a shaky start to his time in Saudi Arabia but gradually has shown signs of improvement. Ronaldo will be an Al-Nassr played until the summer of 2025 which gives him plenty of time to more milestones in the Saudi Pro League.
