The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is back to its original form. The 2023 edition of the tournament kick started with the opening ceremony, which saw its comeback after five-long years. Similarly, the tournament has returned with its home-away format.
In the ongoing tournament opener between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings, the legend of the game MS Dhoni received a warm welcome when he took the field after 315 days gap. The veteran arrived in style during the opener, the spectators also cheered for him as he came into bat at number 8 in the IPL 2023 opener.

As it was seen some days ago during CSK’s practice session at Chepauk, a similar scene was seen during the opener. Fans chanted Dhoni..Dhoni as the former Indian skipper took the field after Ravindra Jadeja’s dismissal.
