NBA star Damian Lillard had a memorable night on Saturday as he met boxing legend Manny Pacquiao at the Terence Crawford and Terence Spence Jr fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) defeated Errol Spence in their long-awaited unification bout to become the first boxer to hold all of the officially recognized welterweight world titles since 1986.
Lillard, who is currently looking for a move away from the Portland Trail Blazers, is a big fan of combat sports and often attends boxing events. Lillard and Pacquiao exchanged hugs and handshakes prior to the fight, and the Portland Trail Blazers guard appeared to be pleased to meet Pacquiao.

Lillard also took to Twitter to express his admiration for Crawford, who knocked down Errol Spence three times and stopped him in the ninth round to become the undisputed welterweight champion. Crawford's performance was hailed as one of the best in boxing history, as he dominated a highly anticipated fight against a top-level opponent.
The NBA guard wrote, “Best performance I’ve seen in boxing tonight by @terencecrawford. The level of fighter in front of him, for undisputed, highly anticipated fight… and he rose and dominated. All time shit 🔥🔥… he’s a different type breed of a human!”
It's not surprising to see Dame at a fight, as he has released several videos of himself putting on the gloves and sparring with his trainer. In 2021, Dame sent out a request on Twitter to the NBA, asking them to schedule the Portland Trail Blazers vs Atlanta Hawks on October 24 so he can attend the Jamal Herring and Shakur Stevenson fight in Atlanta.
