Delhi Capitals captain David Warner lost his cool and had an angry reaction at teammate Lalit Yadav in the game against Mumbai Indians. Warner started off well for the Capitals holding one end with some quality stroke play. Then in the 12th over, Warner took on his Aussie teammate Cameron Green and was attempting to increase the scoring rate.
After hitting a boundary and a dot ball, Warner hit Green towards mid-on where MI leggie Piyush Chawla dropped the catch. While the Chawla was collecting the ball, Warner charged down the pitch to take a single. But his partner Lalit Yadav wasn't eyeing the single and was on the receiving end of an angry David Warner.

After this incident, the Delhi innings manage to increase the scoring rate with Axar Patel scoring an incredible half-century. The spin-bowling all-rounder ended his innings with 54 in 25 balls with four fours and five sixes.
Reacting to this blistering innings, he stated that he went in with a aggressive approach. He also spoke about the pitch stopping the ball and hence he was trying to hold his shape while hitting.
He said, "I was backing my confidence, went with an attacking mindset and the plan was if the ball was in my slot and I'd go for it. The ball was stopping a bit and I wanted to hold my shape while trying for the big hits. We posted a challenging score and hopefully we can restrict them. There is enough in it for the bowlers."
