After being hit with an injury blow, the England cricket team has some good news ahead of their T20 World Cup 2022 semifinal clash against India. Their star batter Dawid Malan, who tweaked his left groin during the game against Sri Lanka, is back with the side.
The 35-year-old was seen hitting the nets ahead of the side's semifinal game against India. In an exclusive video from SportsTiger from the Adelaide Oval, Malan is seen walking for net practice along with Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid by his side.
Talking about his injury, the English batter who was positioned at point tweaked his groin as he ran to stop Bhanuka Rajapaksa’s shot. However, he failed to collect the ball, he was quick to signal towards the England dressing room as he walked off the field in pain.
Notably, England is set to play against India in the second semifinal on November 10 (Thursday) at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. A day prior to this match, New Zealand will lock horns with Pakistan in the first semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2022.
