Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries stunned the football world as he celebrated his side’s Serie A title win unfurling a banner of himself “chaining up” the opposite number Theo Hernandez. Inter Milan secured their 20th Serie A title last week when they thrashed city rivals AC Milan by 2-1 at San Siro.
The Dutch defender went berserk against the Frenchmen in the clash during the added time which resulted in a red card for both the guys and eventually, the 28-year-old missed Inter’s next encounter against Torino. However, he didn’t miss the celebrations as the winners paraded through the entire city in the open bus.
During the parade, Dumfries decided to unfold a controversial banner with Theo Hernandez’s face on a dog and Denzel holding him with a chain around his neck. The original poster was cast from the popular “Grand Theft Auto” game and was photoshopped to issue a controversial statement.

Coming into the match, Inter Milan was placed against their city rivals in an exquisite clash which could have ensured their 20th title in Scudetto. The black and blue outfits showed early signs of dominance as their defender Francesco Acerbi netted the first goal in just 18 minutes into the game. Marcus Thuram followed the lead with a second-half goal in the 49th minute as Inter geared up for a convincing lead before 50 minutes.
Opening the account for AC Milan, their English defender Fikayo Tomori pulled the first goal in the 80th minute which eventually proved too late to change the outcome of the game.
