India's troubles against South Africa continue during their T20 World Cup fixture at the Perth Stadium. The Men in Blue had a horrendous first innings performance and only managed to score 133-9 and now their premier keeper Dinesh Karthik was seen limping off the pitch after suffering a possible injury.
Karthik after a sluggish batting display, kept well as the Indian pacers rained fire at the start of the second innings. The Tamil Nadu keeper was seen leaping up multiple times to save bouncers from going over the long stop boundary. But finally, at the end of 15 overs, he walked out after a possible injury scare.

After Dinesh Karthik's exit, the Indian team had a few moments to get back into the game but couldn't get ahead of the eight-ball. David Miller emerged as the saviour as he scored an all-important 59 in 46 balls as the Proteas registered a five-wicket victory.
Reacting to this performance, Rohit Sharma talked about how the team fought hard but in the end, couldn't finish on a high. He said, "We expected that the pitch will have something in it. We knew that there'll be a lot of help for the seamers, that's why it wasn't an easy target to chase. We fell a little short with the bat. We fought well, but South Africa were better today. "
He then praised the South African batters for their performance and pointed out at the fielding lapses. He said, "When you see that score, you'll always think you're in the game. That was a match-winning partnership from Markram and Miller. We were a little poor on the field, we gave so many chances in the field and we weren't clinical."
