Domantas Sabonis-led Sacramento Kings defeated Julius Randle's New York Knicks by five points on Thursday night in the NBA 2022-23 regular season. While Kings center Sabonis recorded his second straight and ninth triple double of the season, point guard De'Aaron Fox took over in the fourth quarter of the game to take them on level with the second-placed Memphis Grizzlies with a 39-26 record.

After defeating New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, Sacramento Kings are currently on a two-game winning streak with their 122-117 win over New York Knicks at the Golden 1 Center. Domantas Sabonis, who registered a triple double against the Pelicans, made 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists with 9-off-15 from the field.

Apart from Sabonis, the 25-year-old Fox also displayed a pillar performance to hold off the Knicks' comeback possibility. The Kings guard scored 23 points with seven assists and four steals, however, Fox scored 15 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter to show his clutch performance.

On the other hand, New York Knicks forward RJ Barrett scored game-high 25 points with seven rebounds followed by Julius Randle's 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists while guards Jalen Brunson and Quentin Grimes with 19 points each.

Meanwhile, the Kings are next scheduled to travel to the Footprint Center to face Devin Booker's Phoenix Suns on Saturday night while the Knicks will travel to the Crypto.com Arena to face Los Angeles Clippers, earlier on Saturday.
