Indian captain Rohit Sharma was seen visually disappointed after Sri Lankan left-arm spinner Dunith Wellalage dismissed Virat Kohli in the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s fixture. Batting first, Sharma opted to bat first and continued his incredible form in the continental tournament.

But after Wellalage cleaned up Shubman Gill in the 12th over, the left-armer outfoxed Virat Kohli in his next over. As Wellalage sent out a shortish delivery which rose up, Kohli was caught in two minds and gave away a simple catch to Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka. Reacting to this wicket, Rohit seemed visually upset.
