Juventus ran riots at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday as they defeated Atalanta 2-0 to take the second spot in the Serie A 2022-23 standings. Juve striker Dusan Vlahovic was subjected to racist chants during their away game and the Serbian International responded in an elite fashion by scoring a late goal and silencing the racist crowd.

During the game, Vlahovic was at the receiving end of the discriminatory chants as the referee also requested to make a stadium announcement for the chants to stop. However, the 23-year-old striker silenced the crowd with his spectacular goal.

Vlahovic was brought into the game in the 65th minute replacing Arkadiusz Milik and doubled Juventus' lead in the 90+8th minute. After scoring the game, the Serbian striker put a finger on his lips to silence the Atalanta fans, however, he was booked for his over-enthusiastic celebration following the goal.

Last month, the Old Lady of Turin got good news as the 15-point reduction has been overturned by the league, which took them to the third spot before the clash against Atalanta. The Bianconeri are now placed second in the league as Lazio faced a 2-0 loss against AC Milan on Saturday at the San Siro stadium.

Meanwhile, Juventus will next host Spanish giants Sevilla at the Allianz Stadium in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League semi-final on Thursday night.
