McGregor suffered a gruesome leg injury during his second successive defeat against Dustin Poirier in July 2021 and hasn't stepped in the octagon since then. On the other hand, Poirier last fought Michael Chandler on November 13 last year and the won the fight through submission.
In a viral video on social media, a fan held up a board, which mentioned "Your wife is in my dm's," that showed McGregor's famous quote. When Poirier's truck arrived, where the American fighter was greeting his fans alongside Jolie, the fan approached them and held up the poster. After seeing the board clearly, 'The Diamond' bent down and swung his arm at the fan, who initially thought of getting a high five from the UFC fighter.

While Poirier's next opponent in the UFC has not been revealed yet, fans expect the American fighter to compete against Justin Gaethje in their second fight.
