During one of the biggest matches in the SA20 between Joburg Super Kings and MI Cape Town, the South African veteran Faf du Plessis pulled off a screamer of a catch to dismiss Dewald Brevis at the Wanderers, Johannesburg. But despite the heroics in the field from the JSK captain, MICT got a massive score of 243/5.

After winning the toss in their first home game of the SA20 season, Faf du Plessis, the captain of JSK, won the toss and decided to bowl first on a good batting pitch. The MICT openers Rassie van der Dussen and Ryan Rickelton took full toll on the conditions, notching up the highest batting stand of 200 runs in the SA20 history.

Rassie van der Dussen was the first batter to lose his wicket in the 16th over after scoring an exemplary 104 off 50 with nine fours and six maximums, while his opening partnership missed out on his hundred by two runs. When Ryan Rickelton lost his wicket in the final over of the MICT innings, he had scored 98 off 49 with six fours and eight maximums to his name.

However, one of the other talking points from the MICT innings was the moment when the 39-year-old Faf du Plessis ran backward before diving full stretch to take yet another exemplary catch. The JSK captain pulled off a screamer to send Dewald Brevis packing for five off five after he had seen van der Dussen and Rickelton trounce the opposition bowling attack.
