The 15th edition of the Asia Cup is scheduled to commence on Saturday as Sri Lanka will face the likes of Afghanistan in the tournament opener. Ahead of India's Asia Cup 2022 opener against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday, Team India skipper gave a positive response to a fan, who asked for his signed jersey.

The Men in Blue will begin their Asia Cup 2022 campaign against Pakistan on August 28 at the Dubai International Stadium. Both, India and Pakistan will be missing out on their star pacers in Jasprit Bumrah and Shaheen Afridi respectively due to injuries.

A video has gone viral on social media where a fan asked Team India skipper Rohit Sharma for his jersey. Rohit promised the fan that he will give a signed shirt after winning the Asia Cup 2022 or once the tournament finishes.
