A brutal fan fight took place at the stands of Arun Jaitley Stadium amidst the IPL 2025 clash between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians on Sunday, April 13. In a viral video from the stadium, a woman can be seen thrashing a fellow spectator brutality as both of them got involved in a brutal physical fight.
As the situation went out of control, the other fans present their intervened to control the matter. After that, the security personnel also had to intervene to take control of the situation. However, the reason for the altercation is still unknown and the authorities are likely to take an action against the fans who caused the chaos.

Talking about the match, Mumbai Indians got back on the winning track and handed Delhi Capitals their first defeat of IPL 2025 in a dramatic finish. After Karun Nair almost won it for DC with his 40-ball 89 runs, MI scripted an epic comeback and bowled DC out for 193 runs in 19 overs winning the game by 12 runs. After the match MI, skipper Hardik Pandya reflected on MI’s thrilling win.
“Winning is always special, especially wins like this. He (Karun) was batting brilliantly, it seemed like it was going out of hand. (On Karn Sharma) Shows great character, to be brave and toss it up when the boundaries are just 60m long. We never gave up, we kept saying we want to stay in the contest. Everyone put their hand up and we were able to hold on to our chances,” Hardik Pandya said at the post-match presentation.
“Wanted to get the players in form to face the most balls. Dew played a big factor later on, it got very dewy. Just by making sure the game is not over, “keep fighting” was the chatter. We knew a couple of wickets would change the game. It has happened with me before as well, wins like this change the momentum and turn everything around,” the MI captain concluded.
