"Cricket is a funny game," say many people. But they certainly don't take into account the hilarious incidents that take place on a cricket field. The moment someone starts thinking that nothing weirder can happen than what they have already seen, a competitor pops up. With so much cricket going around the globe, the fans have seen possibly everything. But there is still a lot left to witness.

An incident in the ongoing MCA T20 Clubs Invitation 2022 caught the attention of many cricket fans. The incident did not involve someone flying to get the hold of the ball or someone hitting the ball out of the park. It was a simple misunderstanding any can have. But in the manner, it unfolded, made it look hilarious.

In match no. 8 of the tournament, being played between KL Stars and Royal Warriors, the latter's wicketkeeper-batter Harinderjit Singh Sekhon almost fooled opposition fielders regarding his batting stance. When Sekhon walked out to bat and started taking his guard, it seemed like he was going to bat left-handed.

The Stars' captain also felt the same and moved his fielders accordingly. But as soon as Sekhon started taking his position as a right-handed batter, the bowler and fielders were left confused. Finally, they had to run to their original fielding spot, set for a right-handed batsman. The batter also found the incident funny and shared the video himself with the caption "Never seen anything like this before in all my years of cricket. Just wait for it."
