Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan lost his cool with brother Yusuf Pathan after getting run out during the World Championship of Legends (WCL). During their clash against South Africa Champions on Wednesday, June 10, the Pathan brothers were involved in a terrible mix-up, which led to Irfan’s dismissal via a run-out.
The incident took place in the 19th over when Dale Steyn bowled a slower ball and Irfan tried to slog. The ball, however, got a top edge and travelled to the long-off. It would have been a direct catch had the fielder caught it; however, Dane Vilas came running and took the ball into his hands to throw it straight towards the non-striker’s end.

Irfan had already run halfway down the middle but failed to reach the end in time and Steyn, standing next to the stumps took the catch and dismissed the bails. Younger Pathan tried to convince his brother to run for a double; however, Yusuf did not move. This led to Irfan losing his cool and lashing out at his elder brother for the same.
