Australian star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell completed an unbelievable catch in the BBL clash between Melbourne Stars and Brisbane Heat. The 19th match of the Big Bash League 2024-25 took place at the Gabba in Brisbane, where Maxwell stole the limelight by putting in incredible effort to complete a catch that put an end to Will Prestwidge in the game. Earlier in the game, the Stars’ skipper Marcus Stoinis won the toss and invited the rivals to put the score on the board first.

By displaying an exceptional bowling display, they had restricted their rivals at 149 for seven. However, earlier during Heat’s batting, Maxwell pulled off a magical catch to dismiss Will Prestwidge. On the first ball of the 17th over, Daniel Lawrence delivered a tossed up ball, to which Prestwidge reciprocated by swinging his bat. The ball travelled towards the long-on fence, where Glenn Maxwell jumped and got a hand to the ball. The all-rounder made sure the ball didn’t cross the rope as he threw it back and jumped over the boundary ropes to complete the catch.
