India took on Sri Lanka in the second ODI of the three-match series on Thursday. Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss yet again and decided to bat first. The Sri Lankan batters did start things well as they put on 51 runs in the first ten overs. However, once Rohit Sharma introduced spinners, Sri Lanka batters looked in all sorts of trouble. The wrecker-in-chief was Kuldeep Yadav as the chinaman bowler bagged three wickets.

Axar Patel also did a handful of damage as the left-arm orthodox took one wicket at the expense of 16 runs in his five overs. Patel also took as many as four catches. Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj picked three wickets as India bundled Sri Lanka for 215. The fielders also did a terrific job in the middle. While Shubman Gill contributed to a runout dismissal, Hardik Pandya also saved some runs in the outfield.

But Pandya garnered attention for other reasons. The India all-rounder was caught abusing one of his teammates during the game. The incident took place between the 11th and 12th over of Sri Lanka’s innings. Hardik seemed upset about not getting what he asked for and was heard abusing on the stump mic. "Paani manga tha last over g***d marwa raha hai udhar,” Pandya was heard shouting at someone.

While it’s not clear at whom Pandya was shouting, fans looked upset at the cricketer’s behaviour. “He is Vc of team India. Shame on u @hardikpandya7,” wrote one user while sharing the video of the incident.
