The celebrations of the Mumbai-based franchise were led by former skipper Rohit Sharma, who could be seen covered in colours and playing with water.
Hardik Pandya plays Holi with Ritika Sajdeh and Samaira
The newly-recruited MI captain Hardik Pandya was seen playing Holi with former skipper Rohit Sharma’s family. In a video doing rounds on social media, the all-rounder was seen hugging Ritika and playing with Samaira. Notably, Pandya has been on fans’ radar since he replaced Sharma as the MI captain. During their first IPL 2024 match, Pandya was booed by fans when he appeared for the toss alongside GT’s new captain Shubman Gill.
Pandya was the captain of Gujarat Titans in two previous seasons of the tournament and led the side to two consecutive finals. The cricketer was traded to MI ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, where he replaced their long-standing captain as the new skipper.
