Defending champions Gujarat Titans are locking horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in match number 62 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). Hardik Pandya was seen donning the special lavendar coloured jersey as a part of the side’s special initiative as he took the field for the toss earlier during the day.
Ahead of the toss, the two skippers shared a wholesome moment in the middle before the coin toss as home skipper Hardik Pandya put bow on Aiden Markram’s jersey as a part of their cancer initiative. It is to be noted that the Gujarat Titans are wearing a special lavendar coloured jersey to support cancer patients.

The reason of the same was earlier not known as the GT skipper reveled it as the toss. “yeah, it is a special initiative to support cancer patients. This is just our wy of showing support,” Pandya said at the toss.
Talking of the match, SRH won the toss and opted to bowl first. While the Gujarat Titans are placed at the top of the points table with eight wins from 11 matches t 16 points, the Aiden Markram-led side at reeling in the bottom half of the table with just four wins from 11 matches with eight points.
