In a heartwarming gesture ahead of Mumbai Indians' match against the Delhi Capitals, the MI skipper Hardik Pandya surprised two of his young super fans by paying a visit to them. In a video, Pandya was seen showcasing the act of humility and his undeterred connection with his fans as he shared light moments with young fans. During their conversation, it was visible that Hardik Pandya possesses much significance to the next generation and the inspiration he provides.
The enthusiasm on the face of the young fans was visible as they charged up after seeing their cricketing hero. The superfan acknowledged him about his fan following and how much she adores him. She added on by confessing that she never misses a match featuring the Mumbai Indians skipper.
The younger fan took his curiosity and questioned Pandya about his famous helicopter shot against MS Dhoni’s CSK in 2019, to which he replied, “It got off with the flow of the moment.” It happened to be a dream come true moment for the fans and they tend to cherish their experience for a long time.

Mumbai suffer 10-run defeat against Delhi Capitals in a do-or-die match
Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians continued to reel at the ninth spot in the IPL 2024 standings after they were handed a 10-run defeat against the Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. After winning the toss, the MI invited DC to bat first. On the back of a quick start from Jake Fraser-McGurk along with crucial contributions from Tristan Stubbs, Shai Hope helped DC post 257/4. However, a brilliant batting display from Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya could not help the visitors reach the target, eventually falling short by 10 runs.
