The first semi-final between India and Australia of the Women's T20 World Cup is going right down to the wire. After an average bowling performance, the Indian batters managed to recover with an incredible counter-attacking batting display by Harmanpreet Kaur.

The Indian captain batted brilliantly with Jemimah Rodrigues to put the Aussies on the back foot. But her innings suffered an abrupt end as her bat stuck before the crease and she was run out. Kaur hit the ball towards deep mid-wicket and was completing a routine single when this mishap took place. Kaur was extremely furious as she angrily flung her bat while walking back to the dressing room.
