35-year-old Harmanpreet Kaur might be in the twilight of her career, but she is still putting up an effort like a teenager on the field. The Indian skipper pulled off an incredible one-handed catch to dismiss Aaliyah Alleyne during the India versus West Indies first Women’s ODI of the three-match series at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, where the first international game is currently in progress on Sunday, December 22.
On the final delivery of the 11th over in the West Indies innings, Renuka Singh bowled an inswinging ball which Alleyne picked up early and went for a big shot over the mid-on fielder. However, Harmanpreet Kaur, who was stationed at the edge of the mid-on, timed her jump to perfection and made a full stretch to pull off a one-handed stunner, to send the right-handed batter packing for 13 runs in 23 balls.
