England striker Harry Kane launched a marvellous goal from beyond the half-line as Bayern Munich smashed SV Darmstadt 8-0 at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday. In another closely contested Bundesliga season, the Bavarian got off to a start with Joshua Kimich going off with a red card. The referees continued to make a big impact on the fixture as Darmstadt's Klaus Gjasul and Matej Maglica went off with red cards.

But after this red-card-fueled goalless half, Bayern came out swinging with Harry Kane heading in a Noussair Mazraoui cross. With shackles broken, Leroy Sané, Jamal Musiala and Kingsley Coman found the back of the net. Adding insult to injury, as Munich were on a counter-attack, Harry Kane received a pinpoint pass from Thomas Muller and smashed the ball from his own half which looped over the struggling keeper and went in the goal.

With this strike, Kane also became the first player to score over 10 goals and provide more than five assists in Europe’s top five leagues this season. Coming back to the game, Bayern Munich managed to end the game with a score line of 8-0 which concluded with Kane completing another stunning hat trick.
