Team India defeated Sri Lanka in a thrilling fashion to clinch the Asia Cup 2023 title on Sunday, September 17. While Mohammed Siraj was the Man of the Match in the final against Sri Lanka, Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli's humorous exchange after the game brought laughter among the fans in the stands.
The Men in Blue restricted Sri Lanka to 50 runs as Mohammed Siraj picked up six wickets in his seven overs followed by Hardik Pandya's three wickets and Jasprit Bumrah also picked up a wicket. During India's batting, Ishan Kishan was promoted to open the innings with Shubman Gill as both youngsters went unbeaten and won the game for India in just 6.1 overs.
After the game, a few Indian cricketers were spotted chatting on the field while Ishan Kishan emulated Virat Kohli's walking style and also showed the gestures Kohli makes while walking on the field. As youngsters Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma burst into laughter, Kohli taught Kishan the actual way of his walking style. In the viral video, Kishan again walked in Kohli's style and left the fans in splits.

After finishing the Asia Cup 2023 on a winning note, Team India will look forward to another challenge as they are scheduled to face Australia in a three-match ODI series starting on September 22 in India. Ahead of the ODI series against Australia, the Indian players will assemble in Mohali on Wednesday for the team selection. The last match of the series will be played on September 27 as the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 will commence on October 5.
