Popular YouTube streamer IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., has extended his support for his favourite football club by signing a contract with the Premier League giants in the presence of the club's Chief Executive Omar Berrada. The 19-year-old Speed became a Manchester United fan after his idol Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford for his brief second stint at the club.
Speed travelled to the UK to attend the UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg between Manchester City and Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday. The American streamer shared a video on his YouTube channel, where he could be seen entering what appears to be a Manchester United press conference.
On YouTube, Speed announced that he got a call from Manchester United and he was confused about the team management calling him to their office. He said, " Alright, boys I just got this call from Man United. They told me to pull up to the office, I am super confused, I am like, 'What's going on?' I just got a call from Man United and it sounded like a manager, some business person."
In a viral video on social media, IShowSpeed could be seen entering a Manchester United press conference, where Omar Berrada was waiting for him. Berrada said, "Welcome to Old Trafford, Speed." Speed, who was in disbelief, responded, "Oh my god, no way, bro. No way!" The Man United Chief Executive then showed Speed some papers saying, "You have to sign there, this is your first contract."

On signing the contract, Speed revealed that it was one of the three best moments in his life. He said, "It's up there with the top three (best moments of my life). The first one would have to be, obviously meeting Cristiano Ronaldo. The second will probably be me getting RKO'd (by Randy Orton) and the third one is probably this one. I have been dreaming of this, this actually means a lot to me. Me getting signed to Man United, who would have thought this would happen?"
However, the details of the contract are still unknown while Speed showed the Old Trafford facilities including his jersey hanging in the locker room in the rest of his YouTube video.
