Popular Youtuber and online streamer IShowSpeed showcased his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo by recreating one of the Portuguese great's iconic moments in a livestream challenge. Over the last few years, Speed has grown to astronomic popularity for his over-the-top live streams.
In a recent video posted on his Instagram handle, IShowSpeed was spotted wearing a Ronaldo Portugal t-shirt with the jersey number 17. In the clip, Speed confronted a challenge where a football was suspended in the air at 2.93 meters, and he had to pull off a header jump just like Ronaldo.
IShowSpeed successfully pulls off CR7 challenge
Known for surprising athleticism, Speed completed the jump and successfully pulled off the header before celebrating with Ronaldo's iconic Siu celebration. The 19-year-old who is an avid supporter of Ronaldo was extremely euphoric after pulling off the challenge just like his idol.
The 2024-25 season hasn't started well for CR7 as his team Al Nassr suffered a massive 1-4 against arch-rivals Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored the opening goal just before half-time in the season's curtain-raiser between Saudi Pro League champions and runners-up. The new Saudi Pro League season will begin on Thursday, August 22 when Al Nassr take on Al Raed.
