Ja Morant is having the best time of his professional life. He is breaking one record after the other. Monday was another night when Morant broke a record and created one. In the Memphis Grizzlies match against the San Antonio Spurs, Morant scored 52 points in total which was a record in itself. In his 34 minutes for the Grizzlies, Morant put anything and everything in the basket and helped his team register another victory of the season.

In his 52-point show, Morant created many such instances when the audience went into a frenzy. Despite being only around six feet tall, the Grizzlies point guard creates quite a jump which helps him dunk the ball easily over players a foot taller than him. The same happened on Monday when Morant scored a two-pointer by dunking the ball over seven-footer Jakob Poeltl. The crowd and commentators could not believe what just happened and were in awe of the 22-year-old.

This was not the only moment when Morant did something unbelievable. There was another moment in the game when the Grizzlies player surprised his opponents with his agility and skills. Late in the second quarter, Steven Adams delivered a length-of-the-court pass to Morant, who caught the ball in midair and nailed a buzzer-beater from the left baseline for a 68-58 halftime lead.

The player himself acknowledged that it was something unreal and he won't be able to replicate it again. "That shot was something I'll probably never be able to do again," said Morant. He also thanked his teammates and coaches for believing in his abilities. "I'm thankful for my teammates, my coaches. They believe in me and have all the confidence in the world that I'll make the right plays," he added.

On the back of Morant's heroics, Grizzlies won the game 118-105 and now are just two games behind the Golden State Warriors in the loss column for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.
