Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal is currently working on his upcoming film, which is the remake of the 1980s film "Roa d House" , and the 42-year-old crashed the UFC 285 ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday at the T-Mobile Arena to film a scene for his new movie. Apart from the Oscar-nominated actor, two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor, who is also a part of the Amazon Prime film, also showed up at the weigh-ins.

Jake crashed the UFC 285 weigh-ins to film a scene for 'Road House', where he stood in front of the former UFC fighter Jay Heiron and slapped him in the face before getting split up. UFC President  Dana White was also involved in the scene, which hinted at his possible role in the film.

The remake of 'Road House' is being helmed by Doug Liman and is produced by Joel Silver under the  Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and Silver Pictures banner. Apart from Jake and Conor, the film also features  Daniela Melchior, Lukas Gage, Billy Magnussen, and Arturo Castro among others.

McGregor also appeared at the UFC 285 weigh-ins

UFC stalwart Conor McGregor also appeared at the weigh-ins with his film crew and shook hands with Jon Jones, who is making his return to the octagon for the first time in three years. After dominating the light heavyweight class for years, Jones is set to make his heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight title belt.

Meanwhile, the 34-year-old McGregor, who has not fought since breaking his leg in defeat to American fighter Dustin Poirier in July 2021,  is set to return to the Octagon for the first time in two years as Dana White announced his new fight on Twitter. McGregor will take on fellow lightweight pugilist Michael Chandler on pay-per-view after 'The Ultimate Fighter' season and the pair are set to be coaches in the next season. 

The new season of TUF will kick off from May 30 to August 15, after which the McGregor vs. Chandler bout will take place on pay-per-view. However, the details about McGregor's next fight have not been revealed yet.
