The Orlando Magic improved their 2023-24 regular season record with a 139-120 win against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday as they have managed the second spot in the Eastern Conference standings with a 13-5 record. However, Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony combined to recreate the iconic LeBron James and Dwayne Wade play from their Miami Heat days.

The iconic play by James and Wade took place in Milwaukee on December 6, 2010, and has gone down as one of the NBA's most iconic plays. The James and Wade duo is recognized as one of the best duos in NBA history as they won back-to-back rings in 2012 and 2013.

On Wednesday, November 29, Magic guards combined for a wild alley-oop off a steal to recreate the iconic impression. With over 6:40 remaining in the fourth quarter, Suggs tossed the ball for Anthony, who dunked over Wizards guard Landry Shamet and recreated the impression as Suggs held his hands out while Anthony threw down the slam.

Magic off to great start in 2023-24 season
After failing to win a single Playoff series since 2010, the Magic are looking strong this season as they are currently on an eight-game winning streak after Wednesday's win. Jalen Suggs scored 22 points on 9-of-15 from the field with three rebounds and assists each, and two steals, while Cole Anthony came off the bench for 26 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
The Orlando Magic also displayed a decent performance in the inaugural In-Season Tournament as they leveled the Boston Celtics and the Brooklyn Nets with three wins in four matches in the East Group C, however, failed to qualify for the quarter-finals due to their lower point difference.
