James Vince scored a match-winning 101(43) runs as Karachi Kings chased the mammoth target of 235 runs against Multan Sultans in match number three of PSL 2025 at National Bank Stadium in Karachi. He was also awarded for his fiery knock which helped Karachi to register a record chase. Apart from that, the English batter was also acknowledged in the Karachi Kings dressing room and also got a unique gift for being the most reliable player of the match.
In a video posted by Karachi Kings on their social media a day after the match against Multan Sultans, the franchise owner praised James Vince for his innings and presented him with a gift. However, it wasn’t any medal or trophy but a hair dryer. Vince also couldn’t control his laugh while he was going to collect the gift.

Talking about the match, Multan Sultans skipper played a captain’s knock as he went on to score his second hundred in the PSL. The right-hander scored an unbeaten on 105* runs off 63 balls, hitting nine fours and five sixes. Apart from that, Kamran Ghulam also scored a quickfire 36(19) runs, while Michale Bracewell gave finishing touches with 44*(17) runs as the Sultans posted 234 runs for the loss of three wickets in their 20 overs. For Karachi Kings, Hasan Ali, Khusdil Shah and Abbas Afridi scalped a wicket each.
Chasing the winning target, Karachi Kings got a flying start as Tim Seifert (32 off 16) and skipper David Warner (12 off 6) added 44 runs for the first wicket in 3.2 overs. After that, James Vince took charge of the innings and scored 101 runs off 43 balls, hitting 14 fours and four sixes. Apart from that, Khushdil Shah also contributed with 60(37) runs with five fours and four sixes as Karachi chased the winning target in 19.2 overs at the loss of six wickets.
