England pacer Jofra Archer bowled an unplayable in-swinger as he prepares to make a comeback to international cricket. Archer was playing for the Sussex XI in County Cricket’s second division, where the cricketer bowled a lethal delivery to dismiss the right-handed batter LBW. Archer has faced a challenging time with his recurring injuries, having a significant impact on his right elbow during England’s tour of South Africa in 2019-20.
Following that, he suffered several injuries, including a lower-back stress fracture, and went through several surgeries, dealing with a rough patch in his cricketing career. The bowler was also ruled out of the Indian Premier League due to the resurgence of his elbow injury. Not only this but he was also forced to miss the marquee ICC ODI World Cup 2023, held in India. The 28-year-old also decided to withdraw his name from the IPL 2024 auction as well.
