After a tough start to the season, things are finally falling in place for FC Barcelona. Under the leadership of club legend Xavi, the famous football club is in its re-building phase and one can say that the new era of Barca might have officially kicked off on Sunday.

Following a few exciting transfers in January, Barcelona got set to lock horns with arch-rivals Atletico Madrid in a much-awaited contest at Camp Nou. Yannick Carrasco scored an early goal to get the visitors into the lead and fans thought that it could be another long evening for Barca.

However, not many people would have imagined what was about to happen next! The fans got to witness a glimpse of old golden days once again as Barcelona unveiled their magic against their opponents. And it all started with an incredible moment of magic in the 10th minute of the match.

As Barca tried to attack down the right flank, the ball landed into the feet of Dani Alves. The 38-year-old, who returned to the club this season, rolled back the years as he found Jordi Alba with a beautiful lobbed pass/cross at the edge of the box.

The left-back, who had made a sensation run into the box, then produced a first-time volley and his outrageous kick went over Jan Oblak and straight into the corner of the goal, making it 1-1. The Alves-Alba combination certainly delighted the Barca fans as they got to witness one of the best and most special goals of Laliga 2021-22 season.

The home side continued to dazzle their opponents as a few minutes later, they came up with another brilliant attack from the right-wing. This time it was their new-signing Adama Traore, who produced a clinical cross. The ball was headed into the goal by Gavi, giving Traore his first assist on his league debut for the Spanish Giants. At the time of writing, Barca were ahead by 3-1 (after a 43rd-minute goal by Araujo) in what was one of their best first-half performances of the season so far.
