England's skipper Jos Buttler on Sunday, November 10, put on a power hitting masterclass at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, scoring 83 runs in 45 balls, to ensure England won the second T20I against West Indies by seven wickets. The highlight of the match was the massive 115m six from Jos Buttler off Gudakesh Motie, which cleared the stadium with ease. His performance helped England lead the five-match T20I series 2-0.
The footage of the England skipper and former Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batter hitting the longest six quickly went viral on social media platform X. On a flighted delivery from Motie, Buttler came soaring down the track and hit a huge six over the long-on region in the ninth over of the innings. The ball went over the roof and out of the Kensington Oval in a jiffy.

Powerful knock from the England skipper Jos Buttler against halpless West Indies attack
In Sunday's second T20I against West Indies, England skipper Jos Buttler made a spectacular return to form in pursuit of the 159-run target. Buttler exacted retribution on the left-arm spinner in the second Twenty20 International after being dismissed for a duck in the first game due to a spectacular catch by Gudakesh Motie.
Jos Buttler's exceptional innings earned him the "Player of the Match" award. "It was scratchy for the first couple of balls but when I got going, I enjoyed it. It was great to be back out there," Buttler said during a post-match interview. “I have played for a while and batted in lots of different positions. I am just waiting to see what happens and playing what is in front of me,” he further added.
Earlier in the chase, England's had a shaky start with the early wicket of Phil Salt. However, Jos Buttler's strokeplay provided solid momentum to the team. He gave the tourists control of the series with six sixes on his second start following a protracted injury layoff. Will Jacks, on the other side, offered Buttler solid support resulting in a 129-run partnership.
The next match will be played in St. Lucia on Thursday and England will show strong aggression in the upcoming match to avenge their 2-1 defeat in the ODI series against the West Indies.
