Reigning champions England are taking on South Africa at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. While the Jos Buttler-led side won the toss and invited the Proteas to bat first, the Aiden Markram-led side posted 399 for seven in the 50 overs, registering the highest-ever total in ODIs against England.

However, the Protean bowlers continued their brilliant form on the field as they reduced England to 100/7. Just after reaching 100 on the scoreboard, a brilliant catch from Kagiso Rabada helped the Proteas get their eighth wicket as they neared another victory.
While Lungi Ngidi bowled a brilliant short ball, outside off, Willey sliced it off and Kagiso, who was stationed at mid-off, came in, dived and managed to pull off a brilliant catch.

The South Africa men put 399, courtesy 109 off 67 which was also supported by Reeza Hendricks’ 85 off 75, Marco Jansen’s unbeaten 75. Additionally, Klaasen’s century is now the sixth fastest in the history of the ODI World Cup.
