The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and West Indies' celebrated all-rounder Andre Russell makes his Bollywood debut as a singer and actor in his newly released album. The Bollywood song “Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki” was written and composed by Palaash Muchhal and sung by Andre Russell and Palak Muchhal. The song also features Avika Gor opposite Russell.
The song will mark a unique collaboration between KKR and Indian drama Balika Vadhu as the two leads will thrive in the music that is a combination of Caribbean charm and Bollywood masala, evident in the teaser. Since the release of its teaser on social media platforms, cricket fans have been waiting for the Indian entertainment industry of Russell.
Andre Russell’s love for Bollywood and Hindi music is no secret as on many previous occasions too, the 36-year-old was seen vibing on KKR-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s song ‘Lutt Putt Gaya’ from the movie Dunki. The new album of Andre Russell is set to be released on May 9.
