India are taking on South Africa in the final Test of the two-match series in the rainbow nation. After being invited to bowl first, the Indian bowling ripped apart the Protean lineup as they bundled out the hosts for 55 in the first inning. However, the Men in Blue comfortably chased the total, taking a 98-run lead before being dismissed at 153/10.

As the Day 1 came to a close, the Protean trailed by only 36 runs and further took a lead at the start of Day 2. However, Jasprit Bumrah clinched quick five wickets, Aiden Markram stood tall in the middle to post a considerable score. In the 28th over of the Protean inning, Bumrah was close to dismiss the in-form batter in Aiden Markram, but an easy drop from KL Rahul, gave Markram a life.

On the third delivery of the 28th over, Bumrah bowled a good length outside off. However, Markram logged but it climbs sharply and called for an edge. While the ball went over Rahul’s head but the wicketkeeper-batter got it comfortably in hand but somehow popped it out, dropping Markram at the score of 73. What came further was the disappointment seen on Bumrah’s face.
At the time of writing, South Africa had taken a 52-run lead with Markram closing his century, while Kagiso Rabada at 2 off 5 balls.
