Nothing seems to be working for India’s top-order batter KL Rahul. The Indian vice-captain in Test cricket is searching for runs for a long but he continued to struggle on Saturday morning when he got out in a very unfortunate manner. While Indian openers – Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul – came out to chase just 115 runs in the 2nd Test of the series, Rahul faltered against Nathan Lyon's challenge way too early in the game.

It was only the second over of India’s second innings when Lyon bowled a flatter at the pad, which KL struck sweetly. But the ball hit the pad of the short-leg fielder and went in the air. The ball was then easily pouched by Australia's wicketkeeper Alex Carey. Rahul simply turned his head around and walked away, wondering what he could do right to undo his luck. With that dismissal, India were reduced to 6-1 in 1.1 overs.

Rahul's poor form was on display in the Nagpur Test as well where the Indian batter could only post 20 runs in total on the board.
Talking about the 2nd Test, Indian off-spinner – R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja – rattled Aussie batters in their second innings by bundling them out at 113-10 in 31.1 overs. While Jadeja picked seven wickets in the game, Ashwin bagged three. Except for Travis Head (43) and Marnus Labuschagne (35), none of the Aussie batters could even reach double-digit figures in their second innings.
