The Rohit Sharma-led Team India are taking on South Africa in the first of the two-match Test series. While the Indian wicketkeeper-batter has been a crucial addition in the Indian lineup, he finally reached a much-awarded century with a gritty knock at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.

After the Day 2 saw a half-an hour delayed start, KL Rahul scored a much needed ton to help put 245 runs on the board for the visitors. What followed a celebration which was a well-deserved on. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter punched in air after a bring in a 100 with a six off Gerald Coetzee in the 66th over.
He also removed his helmet and raised his bat to celebrate his ton. The Indian team also applauded the crucial knock as they stood up to hail the batter. KL Rahul completed his eighth Test century and also brought in back-to-back hundred, after his previous coming in Centurion in 2021 in a Boxing Day Test.
Speaking of Team India, the visitors were bundled out at the score of 245 with Nandre Burger castling up KL Rahul in the 67th over.
