The India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s fixture resumed today with India on 147-2 in 24.1 overs, after the rain washed out yesterday’s day. KL Rahul and Virat Kohli took charge and continued from where Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill left off.

Continuing his stunning form, Rahul smashed leg spinner Shadab Khan for a four and a six in the 35th over. Virat Kohli, who was at the nonstriker's end, and captain Rohit Sharma were mindblown by the six as it went deep into the stands.
Rahul stepped out to Shadab Khan and launched the leggie over the deep midwicket boundary. There was nothing inherently wrong with the ball, but it was Rahul’s class that he hit one of the best spinners in the world against the spin.

KL Rahul is playing his first game after returning from a thigh injury that he suffered while fielding during the IPL 2023. Rahul started his innings cautiously but slowly gained momentum and started hitting the Pakistan bowling lineup all over the place.
India has been cruising towards a healthy first innings total as Virat Kohli and Kl Rahul are looking good as both have completed their half-centuries. It is further helped by the fact that Pakistan's bowling is hamstrung as pacer Haris Rauf has not taken the field today courtesy of a side strain.
