The Lucknow Super Giants are hosting defending champions Gujarat Titans in the first match of today’s double header at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. After winning the toss, Hardik Pandya elected to bat first. The Pandya-led side however got their first jolt as Krunal Pandya dismissed opener Shubman Gill in his first over.

On the second ball of Krunal’s first over, what was also the second over of the Gujarat innings, Gill went on to smash the ball full length but Ravi Bishnoi, who was stationed at long-off completed a straight catch to draw the first blow. What was striking in this was that Krunal gave a flying kiss above to celebrate this wicket.
