Lucknow Super Giants' Krunal Pandya pulled off an incredible diving catch to dismiss a dangerous-looking Devon Conway in IPL 2023. After a blistering start by the Chennai Super Kings, LSG managed to dismiss Ruturaj Gaikwad at a score of 57 in 31 balls.

But after Gaikwad's dismissal, Conway was upping the ante with his expansive range of shots. But against Mark Wood, the New Zealander miscued a short ball towards the leg side. Conway seemed to be safe by Krunal Pandya, who came in charging from deep backward square leg before diving forward and completing a top-notch diving catch.

Building on the start given by Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK managed to post a massive total of 218 runs. Reacting to his and the team's performance,  Conway  spoke about how it was a special feeling of returning to Cheapuk.

He said, "It was a great start tonight, the way Rutu played- that first six was pretty special. Took the pressure off me. He is sneakily strong, holds his shape really well and uses his hands well. The slower ball into the wicket might be a good option. Pretty difficult to hit due to the unpredictability of speeds."

"With the spinners, some skid on so if we hit the right lengths batting can be difficult. Very special feeling when I got here earlier. The crowd was pretty loud, really great atmosphere and watching MS go out there for the last over was pretty special. The message has been to just go out there and enjoy ourselves."
