The Gujarat Titans are locking horns in their third IPL 2023 fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Narendra Modi Stadium. After winning the toss, the hosts opted to bat first and posted 204 on the board with the loss of four wickets in their 20 overs.

After the GT openers took the field in their innings, in-form batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz was soon dismissed at a score of 15. What caught the eyes was the brilliant piece of fielding by Yash Dayal. O n the third delivery of the third over, GT substitute wicketkeeper KS Bharat and Yash Dayal nearly collided in order to complete a catch of Gurbaz. While the took were down on the field, Dayal claimed the catch, dismissing Gurbaz early in the innings.

Talking about the first innings, GT managed to post 204/4 in their 20 overs. While Sai Sudharsan completed his second fifty in the ongoing edition, Vijay Shankar stole the show with his quickfire 63* which came off 24 deliveries.
While GT sit at the third place with four points after two wins in the ongoing edition, KKR sit at the sixth place with just one win and one loss.
