Kylian Mbappe showed his hidden softer side before helping Paris Saint-Germain retain their Ligue 1 crown at Strasbourg. Thanks to a 1-1 tie, the Parisian giants won the championship for the ninth time in 11 seasons. Even though Kevin Gameiro equalised for the hosts, Mbappe, the team's captain, played a crucial part in setting up Lionel Messi's game-winning goal in the second half. However, Mbappe's shot during the warmup on Saturday injured a female fan, and the France forward immediately rushed towards the stand and checked on her.
In Saturday's game, Mbappe's crucial on-field performance wasn't the only topic of discussion following the game, the 24-year-old also received high appreciation for his wonderful gesture after an unfortunate occurrence during warm-up. During the pre-game warm-up session, a young girl was injured in the face by Mbappe's strike that soared into the crowd. When Mbappe entered the crowd to check on the fan, she was clearly bleeding and applying a cloth to her nose.
The official social media handles of Ligue 1 as well as Paris Saint-Germain posted the videos which have since then gone viral on social media. The French footballer showed genuine concern and assisted security in escorting the injured fan out of the stand and down the touchline, where she took a seat on the PSG bench. Mbappe stayed behind as she had additional medical attention, and staff individuals cleaned up her wound.
