Dallas Mavericks superstar Kyrie Irving, who agreed to a three-year, $126 million contract in June, has been experimenting with his look lately. After shaving off his beard earlier this month, the 2016 NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers showed off his new look and named it "Goatee Kyrie".

Ahead of the NBA 2023-24 season, Kyrie has been making headlines for his offseason workouts and exploring various looks. On the other hand, his teammate Luka Doncic is currently featuring for Slovenia in the ongoing FIBA World Cup 2023.

A video has gone viral on social media, where Kyrie appeared to show off his new look, sporting a goatee-styled beard. In a video posted on his Snapchat handle, Kyrie said, "Bro, this is by far one of the funniest looks I’ve ever had. This shit is crazy, bro. Goatee Kai, you heard? That’s my new nickname. Peak handsomeness, peak handsomeness. Goatee Kai."

Dallas Mavericks had a forgettable 2022-23 season and they missed the playoffs after finishing the regular season in the 11th spot in the Western Conference standings with a 38-44 record. However, with new signings like Derrick Jones Jr., Seth Curry, and Grant Williams among others, the Mavs look like a formidable side and are expected to turn around things in their favor in the upcoming season.

Dallas will open their NBA 2023-24 pre-season against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Etihad Arena on October 4 while they will face the San Antonio Spurs on October 25 at the AT&T Center in their regular season opener.
