The F1 calendar has reached Singapore for the Round 16 of the 2023 season. After the successful completion of the Free Practice Sessions, the day has moved into the Qualifying ahead of the much-awaited final race. But the final moments of the Q1 were full of drama as Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll suffered a major crash.

The moment took placed with all 20 cars going all power at the Marina Bay Circuit. Just when the final moments of the Q1 were closing, Lance Stroll suffered a major crash in the last corner, forcing red flags. Stroll, who was eyeing to finish with a berth in the Q2, he suffered a snap of oversteer after running over the kerbs at the final turn, sending his AMR23 back onto the track.
While the car saw a major damage in this process, Stroll escaped serious injury as he got out of the car as the medical team rushed in.

With this, the Canadian driver joined Valtteri Bottas, Oscar Piastri, Logan Sargeant and Zhou Guanyu to drop out of the qualifying. Additionally, this will put Stroll to start at 20 th place with the team relying on Fernando Alonso, who sits at third place in the Driver Standings with 170 points.
