Mclaren driver Lando Norris managed to break Red Bull driver and Hungarian Grand Prix 2023 winner Max Verstappen's first-place trophy during podium celebrations. Norris capped off another stunning performance as registered his second consecutive podium finish at the Hungoraring.

Starting off third behind a resurging Hamilton and Super Max, Norris held his own as he pipped his fellow Briton driver and Sergio Perez to grab a second-place finish. After the race, Lando, Max and Checo received their trophies and the trio started celebrating when the Mclaren driver performed his favourite champagne celebration where Norris bumps the bottle on the podium and then sprays it around.

In attempting this celebration, Norris managed to nudge Verstappen's trophy which ultimately fell off and broke. Reacting to his damaged trophy, the Dutchman laughed away with Lando as the trio shared a laugh and continued celebrations.

Talking about Red Bull and Max Verstappen, the Milton Keys Outfit managed to break Mclaren's historic record by winning 12 consecutive races which is the most in F1 history.  Reflecting on this historic feat and the race win, Verstappen said,  “Finally, we had a really good start, so I’m very happy with that.

"We’ve been working on that quite a bit, to really get the good bite.  I knew of course when I had the inside that corner was mine… late on the brakes, heavy car… so luckily it all worked out well. From there onwards I could do my race and today the car was really, really very quick."
